Henry Kapono | Shaka FilmWe’re honored to welcome Henry Kapono to the Shaka Film production team as music producer. We’ve previously worked with Henry and wife Lezlee (the business brains behind the Kapono Inc and Kapono Foundation), so we know we’re in good hands with these two producing music production for the film. Henry is already hard at work on the title song and has some special friends in mind to help out on the soundtrack.

Lives Aloha

Henry is also an interviewee of the film as he exudes the Shaka lifestyle and lives aloha. In the film, you’ll get to know Henry yourself as a 100% positive human being that loves all included and simply enjoying themselves. His approach to life is pretty simple: be thankful, be kind, love others. Asked about the story of his guitar, he says it’s his second love, with a wink to Lezlee, noting that it gives him the chance to feel and to share.

Shaka Music Producer

Henry also brings the Kapono Inc. team to the the production to co-produce the epic closing Shaka Contest scene slated for November, 2021 (COVID-allowing). The event is envisioned as a key story and b-roll shot for the film but also as the pilot for an annual event to join Henry’s Home in the Islands Festival in 2022.
